The DFWcon Shoe Cam: The Grudgematch has begun!
This weekend I’ll be speaking at the DFW Conference. My good friend Anna DeStefano will also be in attendance, as well as giving a workshop, participating on a panel and showing off her designer shoe fetish. Sigh, while I certainly can’t take credit for her addiction to all things pretty and shiny, I think perhaps, I can be partially blamed for the twitter shoe war that has become the part of the DFWcon twitter feed and the “shoe cam”.
Let me tell you a little story.
Ever since I have known Anna, she has been obsessed with shoes. She never leaves home without them, where I on the other hand have driven all the way to Wegmans, gotten out of the car, only to realize I am either still in my slippers, or wearing no shoes at all. This habit developed when I began working from home. You see, when you work form home, you don’t need to wear these lovely creations that I too used to collect. Well, to a certain extent, I still do.
I basically have 4 types of shoes. Slippers (my Uggs).
Rink shoes (my Rocket Dogs).
Lake shoes (flip flops not shown here).
And finally the shoes my husband calls something I can’t repeat here.
Here some of my choices for DFWcon. I haven’t decided on which pairs I will bring just yet. If you notice, I pretty much have only two colors. Brown and Black. And mostly Black. That should tell you the colors I tend to wear.
Everyone at the conference, beware. Anna and I will be looking at your shoes.
